From The Roots is a humble initiative by a technologist turned gardener turned food activist to promote sustenance in a climate and environment friendly self produced food.
We support new gardens and guide through the various stages of growing season from establishing gardens, seeds, seedlings and provide resources to support you through the growth process.
We strongly believe knowledge on food come from the roots of experiencing growing food on our own.
OUR VISION
Every home has a garden that produces food that the family needs. Every community shares a garden to bring people together and produce food. Every school has an established garden which serves as the primary food source for the school and also empowers kids towards self produced food.
Every garden takes us close to nature maintaining a natural eco system within itself.

Our mission is to cultivate fresh gardens and offer guidance through the seasons, from planting the first seeds to nourishing seedlings, while providing a wealth of resources to support your growth journey.
Promote food freedom by helping families and communities establish home, school and community gardens. Connect people with food source and connect gardeners with resources.

If you are a School Gardener
ADOPT A SCHOOL GARDEN
We are proud to announce Adopt a School Garden Program.
From The Roots will primarily provide seeds and work with other affiliate organizations if there is additional support needed.

NEW HOME GARDENS
Our aim is that there are as many gardeners that grow at the least one produce in their backyard / balcony / windowsill wherever you can.
We are committed to provide support to establish first garden by sharing a package of seeds and also connect you with gardening resources.
If you passionate about self-sustenance
SEED LIBRARY
It takes a very simple setup to establish your own seed library. Reach out with your plan and setup details to start a new seed library or replenish your supplies.
Seeds are for community use only, not for sale.
